For months we had toiled with the idea of renting a van to take our GANS (YSAs, Young Single Adults) to the Rome temple. The ! on the memorable trip was being randomly pulled over. After a long discussion with the police, who questioned the validity of Cliff's international driver's license, we laughed about it all the way to Rome.

We really did have so much fun! Alexandra, Isamar, Luisa, Rosa, Kekko, Anna, and Alessandro were our traveling companions; we love them all so much!

They all look like models, and boy do they know how to pose for pictures - and edit them, taking years off of us! Enjoy the pics of our Roman adventures! The temple experience was incredible - followed by a beautiful devotional led by Rosa.

We loved finding Marco on temple square! He joined us for the devotional, which made us so happy!

The flowers were so pretty - they hardly looked real!

We loaded up the van, found great underground parking by Villa Borghese, then hit the Spanish Steps. For a few weeks each May, pots of azaleas adorn the steps and the piazza. I was OVER THE MOON happy to see them! This seasonal tradition is breathtaking!

We strolled down Via Margutta (from Roman Holiday), ate pizza, then stopped by a few other sites before loading up and heading home.

Rome was SO CROWDED! I think it was a combination of the jubilee year, the Pope passing away, and the onclave meeting to select the new Pope.

It either takes 2.5 hours or up to 4 to get home. If there is an accident, either you sit forever on the freeway, or you take a detour. We all loved this scenic detour!

Who would have thought we would stumble upon an Amazon fulfillment in the middle of nowhere outside of Rome!

We were so happy to be met at the Church in Napoli by Angy, Michele, and Salvatore - who weren't able to go with us. These beautiful GANS have captured our hearts! We cherish the experiences we have together - the fun, the spiritual, and the stretching moments! We are grateful and blessed.
All our love forever,
